About the competition - Fashion Design - Closed
The competition gives competitors the opportunity to demonstrate both their creative and
technical skills in garment design and construction. Competitors will work to a set design brief
and must submit a research book, two final designs and corresponding technical drawings – showing
evidence of experimentation, garment construction, knowledge and problem solving. Selected
competitors are required to construct a toile, final pattern and the finished garment over a series
of two day live events. The competition promotes the importance of technical skills required within
the UK fashion industry.
Dates and venues of competition heats are not yet available; if you have registered already,
