WorldSkills Sao Paulo 2015

In August 2015, the UK’s most talented apprentices and learners will battle it out against teams from around the world at WorldSkills Sao Paulo 2015.

WorldSkills is the world’s largest international skills competition.  Held every two years in cities around the globe, the competition sees around 1000 young people come together to compete for medals in more than 40 skills ranging from Aircraft Maintenance to Cooking.

Participating in WorldSkills enables countries to share best practise in Apprenticeships and vocational teaching, raising standards on a global scale.

The competitors representing the UK at WorldSkills Sao Paulo 2015 will undergo an intense selection and training programme to ensure they ready to compete on the World stage. They were invited to take part in the programme after excelling at the WorldSkills UK National Competitions, the finals of which are held at The Skills Show.

Squad UK Selection for WorldSkills Sao Paulo 2015 takes place in June.

Squad and Team UK is managed by WorldSkills UK, part of Find a Future.
