This module starts with an introduction to heavy vehicle wheel suspension, before moving on to a general overview of air suspension systems and their function, location, and advantages and disadvantages. You will explore the components and construction of air suspension systems in more detail and practise manually operating an air suspension system by remote control.
The module takes around 90 minutes to complete. You will be continually tested as you work your way through the module, with a series of quizzes and other activities. Once you have completed all sections successfully, you will be awarded a downloadable WorldSkills UK certificate.
