Overview

Industrial Robotics refers to the use of industrial robots in performing automated manufacturing tasks. It allows for outfitting and programming them to work in a wide variety of sectors to include assembly, handling, palletizing, finishing processes, welding to name a few.

Automation is a fast growing and innovative field of Engineering, spanning a number of industry sectors that value skills in problem solving, critical thinking and process optimisation coupled with high standards and a good work ethic.

Successful participants will then be invited to take part in the National Finals working with the FANUC education cell to complete a simulated manufacturing process.
