Forensic Science is the application of science in law. There are different types of Scientists, some of which have been to University but there are others who have not and these are known as Forensic Practitioners. These people who are looking to become a forensic scientist provide impartial scientific evidence for use in courts of law to support the prosecution or defence in criminal and civil investigations.
The individual will need excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure in stressful situations. Good knowledge in court procedures, government regulations, public safety and security. Ensuring when attending crime scenes all tasks are carried out in the correct procedures.
