Roof Slaters and Tilers install slates, tiles, underlay, battens and other related products to roofs on domestic, historic, and commercial buildings – to form a weatherproof covering. If you’re interested in becoming a roofer, you will need to be able to remove and repair broken tiles and slates and check roof timbers.
The individual will need to have excellent skills in measuring and cutting materials, pay attention to detail, customer service skills and to carry out basic computer skills. They should be able to have leadership skills and be flexible and open to change.
