WorldSkills UK and The Careers & Enterprise Company are pleased to introduce a free toolkit to help you develop your students’ career planning and employability skills and prepare them for career success.
The toolkit brings the WorldSkills UK Competition buzz to career exploration and draws especially from the inspirational messages from the growing network of Skills Champions – young people who have competed in skills competitions at national level.
The toolkit includes the full range of technical and professional opportunities and helps young people to:
- Recognise and understand the demands of career planning and employability
- Identify and develop skills needed for the working world
- Devise challenging goals to make progress and achieve.
- The toolkit uses the spirit of excellence and achievement that lies at the heart of WorldSkills UK Competitions; a series of technical competitions that develop talented individuals, taking the best to international level.
