Team UK’s Sam Everton, who will represent the country at WorldSkills Kazan 2019 in August, has secured a place in the finals of the Young National Chef of the Year.
Run by the Craft Guild of Chefs, the competition highlights the most talented young chefs in the UK. Sam was seeded straight through to the final thanks to his involvement in WorldSkills UK Competitions. As a member of Team UK, he will be competing against the world’s best young chefs in Russia from 22 – 27 August 2017.
He is following in the footsteps of Ruth Hansom, who won the award in 2017 and went on to compete in Team UK at WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017.
Sam is currently studying at Pembrookshire College and working at Crwst, a restaurant in Cardigan, Wales.
