The prestigious Tes FE Awards now include a ‘WorldSkills Unsung Heroes’ category to celebrate those who go above and beyond to support our young competitors.
We’re delighted to announce that the 2020 Tes FE Awards will include a category dedicated to our fantastic WorldSkills UK supporters. Taking place on Friday 20 March at the Grosvenor House Hotel, these prestigious awards honour the very best in the FE sector.
The WorldSkills Unsung Hero Award recognises the dedicated professionals who go the extra mile to support the talented competitors who take part our regional, national and international skills Competitions.
Stephen Exley, Tes’ FE Editor, said: “The Tes FE Awards continue to go from strength to strength, and I am delighted to introduce the new WorldSkills Unsung Hero award, recognising the dedication of those people whose tireless work behind the scenes change the lives of the young people they support. If you can think of a training manager, a lecturer, an employer or anyone else who deserves to be recognised, we’d love to hear from you.”
Entries can come on behalf of individuals or teams who work in a variety of roles in providers, employers and other organisations supporting WorldSkills UK participants, including: training managers, team leaders, teachers, lecturers, assessors, support staff and coaches.
