Get inspired by our judges:

When people share their passion and commitment throughout the nomination process, it always shines through.

Andrew Croydon, Director, Education and Examination Policy and Partnerships, The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry

Be authentically you and your passion for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion will shine through.

Anna Galer, Joint Head of Programmes, Into Film Salford

Reflect your ambitious approach to raising standards in technical education and widening opportunities, in the language you use to describe the initiatives and programmes you advocate for and believe in.

Dr Mandy Crawford-Lee, Chief Executive, University Vocational Awards Council

When nominating, paint a vivid picture of their impact. Show their passion, dedication and the tangible results of their work. Use specific examples, anecdotes and quote to bring their story to life.

This will help the judges truly understand the significance of their contributions and why they deserve recognition.

Kaye Jackson, Director of Business Growth and Engagement, Skills and Education Group

Some nominations for the awards will be about unique and exceptional events or strategies to promote equity, diversity and inclusion within the further education and skills sector. But you might be nominating an individual or a group of people who consistently, passionately and proactively live the values of inclusion, and the way that they champion empowering others to enable their unique and different ways of thinking and doing. And that is okay. Nominate them.

Kathryn Langford, Head of CPD, Education and Training Foundation

When nominating an apprentice, think about how, no matter what, they have remained true to themselves, how they have grown past any challenges/barriers or circumstances beyond their control and proved that everyone can achieve what they want if they want to. It helps a judge to see how the individual is making their way forward, maybe they are going above and beyond and championing the way for others to follow.
