Overview

The competition is an opportunity for young people who may be aspiring to work in the IT industry, or in any job where it’s important to have good IT skills and knowledge, to showcase their talent and demonstrate their journey towards work-readiness. Some examples of the job roles available might be:

  • Data entry
  • Office Assistant
  • Working for a club or charity

Entry criteria

The competition is for learners with SEND with an Education health & Care Plan (EHCP) on a vocational, employability or work-skills programme. It is roughly equivalent to a vocational qualification at:

  • Entry Level or level 1 (England and Wales)
  • Level 2 (Ireland)
  • Access 3 (Scotland)

How it works

Registrations open 09:00am Monday 3rd of March and will close midnight Friday 28th of March.

Entry Stage will be released Wednesday 9th of April with a final deadline of Wednesday 30th of April 2025.

Qualifiers will take place Tuesday 10th & Wednesday 11th of June at North Warwickshire & South Leicestershire College – Nuneaton Campus

The National Finals are scheduled to take place in Wales during the week beginning 24th November 2025.
