WorldSkills UK is looking to appoint an Expert, who is currently teaching or working in a training role within a relevant UK based employer, to devise and manage a training programme for UK competitors in Industrial Electronics that will lead to WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017.
WorldSkills Abu Dhabi, which runs from 14 to 19 October 2017, is the world’s largest international skills competition and will see over 1000 young people from 72 countries / regions compete to win Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in their chosen skill.
You will work with the UK’s top apprentices and learners in Industrial Electronics, who have been selected following their success in the WorldSkills UK National Competitions, to develop them to world class standard, ready to compete at WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017.
In return you will receive training that can be attributed to your own continuous professional development programme. You will also work with the member countries of WorldSkills, which will provide you with the unique opportunity to learn about apprenticeship and training programmes in their country.
The deadline for application is 14 June.
Please note if an Expert in Industrial Electronics is not appointed, the UK will not be able to progress with training for Squad and Team UK and will not compete in this skill at WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017.
