The shortlist for the WorldSkills Hero category at the Tes FE Awards has been announced.
The awards, taking place online on 28 May, celebrate those making remarkable contributions in the FE sector.
The WorldSkills Hero award recognises the dedicated professionals who go the extra mile to support the talented competitors who take part in our regional, national and international skills development programmes.
The WorldSkills Hero award shortlist:
• Cyber Security and IT team, Cardiff and Vale College
• Jade Kidd
• Nicola Grant-Rees, Gower College Swansea
• Fitness team, HSDC
• Jane Benefield, Moreton Morrell College
• Colin Galley, New College Durham
• Hospitality and Catering Team, South Eastern Regional College
• Team HB, Southern Regional College
Tes head of FE Julia Belgutay said: “Further education providers have excelled in what has been a truly challenging year, and the amazing individuals, teams and institutions on our Tes FE Awards shortlist showcase that.
