A garden that celebrated former CAFRE student Jonathan Gill’s success at WorldSkills São Paulo 2015 was one of the success stories at this year’s Board Bia Bloom festival in Dublin.
The ‘Podscape Garden’, designed by Bloom first-timer James Purdy who also attended CAFRE, won both the Overall Medium Category and Best Plant Design Award.
Jonathan Gill, who owns Johnny Gill Landscapes, was part of the garden’s build team and he was supported by Adam Ferguson and Noel Taggart, who are both in Squad UK for WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017. Adam will also be competing as a member of Team UK at EuroSkills Gothenburg 2016, which takes place from 1 to 3 December.
