WorldSkills UK is proud to support World Youth Skills Day on 15 July and we are asking that all our partners join in the celebration.
Officially recognised by the United Nations and WorldSkills, the aim of the day is to raise awareness of the importance of skills in addressing the challenges of youth unemployment in countries around the world.
David Hoey, CEO of WorldSkills International said: “In celebration of World Youth Skills Day, WorldSkills is joining forces with the United Nations and other international and regional organizations, to raise awareness of the importance of acquiring skills as a means to achieve better socio-economic conditions for all youth. Along with our 75 Members we are united in demonstrating on World Youth Skills Day, and every day, how to improve the world with the power of Skills.”
