We’ve been working with the Greater Manchester Combined Authority to generate interest in our Schools Programme at the Finals, hoping to provide an engaging visitor experience for our partners, as well as young people in the Greater Manchester area. However, as of this week we have unfortunately had very low registrations from schools, and thus, following internal discussions, we’ve taken the difficult decision to cancel the Schools Programme at both Salford University and Manchester College.
We appreciate that this news is disappointing and remain committed to helping as many young people as possible through our work, ensuring that students and apprentices are equipped with the skills required to succeed, while promoting excellence in standards through the vital work of our competition partners.
