Nathan’s passion for Mechanical Engineering ignited during his high school years and continued to flourish throughout college, guided by an encouraging course lecturer. His dedication and hard work culminated in a bronze medal win at the WorldSkills UK National Competition in 2021, marking the beginning of an exciting journey. 

“After winning the bronze medal at the national competition, I felt a sense of validation and accomplishment,” Nathan recalls. “It was a pivotal moment that fueled my determination to excel further.” 

Reflecting on his journey, Nathan highlighted the invaluable lessons he learned from participating in competitions. “Competing and training with WorldSkills UK has not only sharpened my technical skills but also taught me how to remain calm under pressure and approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset,” Nathan explains. “These experiences have been instrumental in my personal growth and development.” 

 “I’m eagerly looking forward to the grand scale of WorldSkills Lyon 2024,” Nathan expresses with enthusiasm. “Having attended EuroSkills, I know it’s going to be an unforgettable experience filled with opportunities to showcase my skills and learn from fellow competitors.”
